There's a ceremony?
Why yes! Let us answer some commonly (and uncommonly) asked questions!
What should I wear?
We want you to wear whatever makes you feel excellent and festive, and is at least slightly nice for photos! If that's a ten piece suit (is that even a thing?), then go for it! If that's wetsuit bottoms and a tutu (what my dad says he's wearing), then that's great! Maybe don't wear an actual wedding dress though, it would be confusing and you might end up married to someone by mistake. There are only a couple ground rules:
- Footwear: wear something that will be safe for you on wooded paths. We're not hiking during the ceremony, but we don't want any sprained ankles!
- Temperature: dress warmly or bring a jacket! We don't want anyone to be chilly!
Soooo... is this ceremony outside?
Yes! Current temperatures are expected to be about 63-67 degrees, depending on which weather source you trust. Should be sunny. So bring a sweater! We will have lots of chairs set up for you, and should we run out of chairs, will have soft blankets for sitting on.
Is it going to take three hours?
Nope!! Less than 30 minutes.
What time does it start?
Around 4. Please start to wander over to the ceremony site around 3:30ish. Also -- this will be in your welcome package, so don't worry about memorizing this.
Is it going to be boring!?
We really really really hope not. There will be bubbles, and as an audience member, at one point you will be involved in a very minor way! So no sleeping! Plus, one of the bridesmaids may be carrying a squirt gun, so pay attention! (Just kidding... probably...)
